Columbia Unit

Minera Columbia de México, a company that Autlán acquired in 2015, is dedicated to the exploitation and recovery of metals, specifically gold and others minerals in smaller amounts.

Located 16 kilometers from the municipality of Magdalena de Kino, Sonora, the Columbia Unit is an open-pit mine, with three main extraction units that have economically-viable mineral resources: Crestón, Gold Ridge and Columbia. It is currently in the process of exploration and certification to extend the life of the mine.

In 2018, Autlán acquired Metallorum and its mining units in order to grow in profitable sectors such as the mining of precious metals.
