This product is one of the most versatile and most used manganese ferroalloy for steel production. The Manganese of this ferroalloy improves the mechanical properties and the hardenability of steel, while increasing its abrasion resistance.
There is a wide range of applications for the HC FeMn, but it is most commonly used in steels for structural shapes, hot rolled sheets and plates.

Medium Carbon Ferromanganese

This product is considered as a Refined Ferromanganese, which is used in the production of low carbon ones, high resistant and ductile steels, as well as it is efficiency in welding and deep drawing steels. Specifically it is used to produce cold rolled sheets, low carbon slabs, and welding and automotive wire rods.

We also offer Electrode Grade Medium Carbon Ferromanganese with size M 100 X M 325.

The presence of Silicon and Manganese in this ferroalloy provide it with special metallurgical properties that make it very popular in Mini-Mills, where the Silicon is used as a deoxidizing agent. Manganese Nodules

Minera Autlan owns the most important manganese ore deposits in North America. The Manganese Nodule is a unique product in the world, produced exclusively by Minera Autlán, and it is the perfect raw material for the production of Manganese alloys. The nodules are already semi-reduced (MnO), therefore less carbon is required to complete the reduction and less gasses are generated in the process. This product offers advantages to the ferroalloy industry, such as, less electricity, coke, and electrode consumption, as well as a great stability inhibiting the risks of explosions.

This product is a natural manganese ore characterized by its homogeneity and consistency on its chemical analysis. Among other applications, it is used by integrated steelmakers in order to increase the manganese content in pig iron, allowing the generation of fluid slag in the oxygen converter, and avoid the scabs on the oxygen lance and converter mouth.
